Swell Form Graphics Machine
The Swell Form Graphics Machine — often called the Swell Form machine or “fuser” — offers a fast, easy, and cost-effective solution for creating tactile maps, diagrams, text, and graphics. Using specially formulated Swell Touch paper, images can be printed with a standard printer or copier; for the sharpest lines, a laser printer is recommended.
Once printed, simply pass the paper through the Swell Form machine. The heat reacts with the black ink, causing it to rise and form a tactile image, while non-black areas remain flat. You can also draw directly on the paper with a Swell Touch marker to achieve the same raised effect once processed through the machine.
Designed for simplicity and reliability, the machine features automatic start and stop, with no warm-up time required. Both the machine and the paper are user-friendly, safe, and non-toxic, and the paper can also be used with other tactile image tools for added flexibility.

This innovative machine has transformed the way tactile images are created. Using Swell Touch paper, you can print your images just as you would with a standard printer or copier — a laser printer or copier is recommended for the finest line detail.
Once your image is printed on Swell Touch paper (also known as swell paper, capsule paper, microcapsule paper, or flexi paper), pass it through the Swell Form machine. The heat reacts only with the black ink, causing it to swell or puff up into a raised tactile image, while colored areas and the rest of the paper remain flat. Alternatively, you can draw directly on the paper with the special black Swell Touch marker, producing the same raised effect once processed through the machine.
This machine is designed for consistent, reliable results and ease of use. It features automatic start and stop, so it is ready to go immediately — no warm-up time is needed.
