BRAILLO 600 SR2 Braille Printer

BRAILLO 600 SR2 Braille Embosser

The ideal braille embosser for high speed production using paper rolls

The Braillo 600 SR2 braille embosser is meant for large volume braille production. It embosses in 2 page-per-sheet format (front/back) and holds up to 1,000 sheets (2,000 braille pages) in the stacker. Unique to this embosser is that it uses paper rolls, which saves money on paper expenses and minimizes downtime associated with loading paper. One roll can last nearly 8 hours and the embossed documents are separated by a blank sheet, making them easy to retrieve, organize and bind. A special feature of our embossers, and especially important during social distancing, is that they can be networked so that the transcribers are remotely sending files. Because the 600 SR2 can run interrupted for such a long period of time, a single person can then be with the printer collecting the finished braille documents and binding them.

The Benefits of Owning a Braillo:

True Production Braille

In order to meet the heavy demands of true braille production, the embosser needs to be made of durable, high quality parts and components. Braillo is the only manufacturer of braille embossers that can deliver on this promise. See The Braillo Difference.

Braillo Leading 4 Year Warranty

Leading Warranty In the Industry
For all Braillo models, our standard warranty covers every defective mechanical and electrical component from the date of purchase throughout the first three years, or up to 8,000 hours – whichever comes first.  This amounts to up to 15.6 million braille pages.  By the time most embossers have become obsolete or stopped working, Braillo embossers are still under warranty!

We add an additional 1 year for using Braillo/ATC braille paper
Braillo will offer an additional 1 year to the standard warranty by using Braillo/ATC braille paper with your embosser.  The use of poor quality braille paper often causes excessive wear and tear on an embosser, which causes parts to fail prematurely.  Using Braillo/ATC’s specially formulated braille paper will help ensure these risks are minimized.

This brings the total warranty to 4 years, or up to 10,700 hours.  This amounts to up to 20.8 million braille pages.  This is the industry’s most comprehensive and rich warranty, and shows that we stand behind our braille embossers – no matter what. Learn more about our industry leading warranty.

BRAILLO 600 SR2 Product Details

BRAILLO 600 SR2 Product Description

The Braillo 600 SR2 braille embosser is meant for large volume braille production. This braille embosser is unique, as it uses paper rolls instead of continuous (tractor/Z fold) paper. Using paper rolls helps to save money on paper expenses and also eliminates the need for a burster and its operator. Each roll yields roughly 15,000 braille sheets (30,000 interpoint pages) – you can run at full production 1 roll/day without having to load paper into the embosser.  After text is brailled, a built-in paper cutter cuts the paper and releases it to the stacker. When the stacker is full (it holds 1000 sheets), a sensor stops the conveyor belt so the braille documents can be removed. All components are built with high strength  and high quality materials capable of being used for around the clock braille production. Additionally, these embossers are designed with your production team in mind – the entire unit is free of external cables, there is an emergency shutoff switch and has numerous features to ensure the system is perfectly aligned for optimal high speed performance.  We have taken decades of experience and customer feedback to create the most advanced production braille embosser available.

The Braillo 600 SR2 has been designed and built for high production volumes that our customers demand.  This embosser is built with high end components and electronics allowing it to print at 1,800 pages-per-hour. Combined with heavy-duty construction, operator usability features and easy setup, your business can now emboss braille continuously while maintaining optimal braille quality. Backed by a no hassle 4 year warranty, the Braillo 600 SR2 will allow your business to profitably grow and deliver the best reading experience to your end users.
